Drawing on both meanings, this performance creates a hybrid territory where gesture, word, sound, and food intertwine. A low table arranged in the space invites the audience into an intimate, sensory encounter where aromas and flavours cross physical and cultural borders. Rooted in personal experiences of displacement and post-migrant identity, this performative device becomes a space for listening and dialogue, where the feeling of <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">in-betweeness<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is embodied. <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sofreh-e del (Spread of the Heart)<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is an invitation to rethink belonging, challenge imposed geographic boundaries and propose new affective cartographies.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In Iranian culture, Sofreh refers to the cloth spread on the floor to serve food, but also to a symbolic space of ritual, sharing, and intimacy.
