How to approach ecological sustainability as a family? Thinking about sustainability begins at home — in everyday choices, intergenerational conversations, and small gestures that become habits. This talk explores how to raise awareness among children and adults for a more conscious and ecologically committed life, without falling into paralyzing narratives.

The Matérias do Agora (Matters of Now) conversations are gatherings designed as multi-voiced dialogues, co-curated with young people from the Alcanena and Minde region, inspired by their concerns, interests, and urgencies. These are open, critical, and affective conversations that aim to create space for contemporary thought and collective debate on issues that permeate our lives today — in our bodies, in our homes, in our schools, in our rivers, in the media.

In 2025, these conversations unfold in five distinct moments, each dedicated to an essential question of our time. In partnership with Sociedade Musical Mindense, we include a symbolic conversation to celebrate the 110th anniversary of this important institution, reminding us of the value of community.
