Audience Club
To See in the Dark

Since 2017, the See in the Dark audience club has fostered a more critical and engaged community in the Alcanena region. The project invites audiences to attend performances and take part in discussions with artists and special guests, encouraging dialogue and reflection on the performing arts.

Until 2023, the club visited Alcanena, Torres Novas, Cartaxo, Ourém, and Lisbon, including school contexts and presentations at the Materiais Diversos festival.

In the 2025 edition of the festival, See in the Dark returns with a new format. A dedicated group of participants will follow the full program, including an introductory session and three consecutive sessions featuring performances and post-show conversations. The selected shows challenge artistic language and foster discussion on contemporary issues.

This continuous program reinforces See in the Dark’s commitment to critical thinking and active participation in the performing arts, cultivating an attentive and engaged audience community.
