EB 2/3, Minde
School can be a place of belonging or exclusion. How can we ensure that all children and young people feel seen, heard, and respected? What forms of listening exist for differences? In this discussion, we reflect on inclusive pedagogical practices, anti-discrimination policies, and the role of the school community in fostering a diverse, attentive, and welcoming environment.
The Matters of Now conversations are gatherings designed for multiple voices, co-curated with young people from the Alcanena and Minde region, based on their concerns, interests, and urgencies. They are open, critical, and affective conversations that seek to create space for contemporary thought and collective debate on issues that affect us today — in our bodies, our homes, our schools, our rivers, and in the media.
